Basic Recipe Nasi Goreng Ingredients
Large Eggs - 2
Salt - 1 Teaspoon
Pepper
Green Onions - 2 Finely Chopped
Stir-Frying Oil - 3 Tablespoons
Soy Sauce or Oyster Sauce - 1-2 Tablespoons
Cooked Rice - 4 Cups
Preparing Nasi (Rice)
Use previously cooked rice preferably two or three days old, but one day is the minimum.
Gently use your fingers to rub between the rice to break the clumps. This is an important step as it will help cook the rice evenly.
Add Eggs
With the help of a fork or spoon, beat the eggs.
Scrambled Eggs
Heat the frying pan. Add stir-frying oil into the pan. Make sure the bottom of the pan is coated with oil (about two teaspoon). Heat it with medium fire. Cook the eggs.
Cooking Nasi Goreng
Add approximately one tablespoon of oil into the frying pan. Add the rice and cook for three minutes.
Seasonings
Pour soy sauce or oyster sauce according to your flavor.

Add the scrambled egg into the pan when the rice is heated throughly. Add onions and fry it.
